Charity event at La Sala Puerto Banus raises thousands for local animal shelter.
On Tuesday 10th May, animal lovers came together as one to attend a very special Charity Luncheon at La Sala Puerto Banus in celebration of the 30th Anniversary of local animal shelter, Triple A.
A total of 3,700€ was raised on the day in aid of the many furry friends to be used to purchase new animal enclosures for the site which is currently being fully refurbished.
The wonderful afternoon consisted of a 2 Course Lunch accompanied by free-flowing Cava with Peet Rothwell providing the melodic soundtrack.
Triple A Marbella cares for approximately 250 cats and 400 dogs with a monthly running cost of around 50,000€ per month, making fundraising events like this one crucial for their survival. Triple A representative Lily VanTongeren commented “The care for the many animals is an ongoing task and a responsibility that we cannot fulfill without your support. We have so much gratitude for the funds that were raised at this celebratory 30th anniversary event, it will drastically improve the comfort of the animals.”
