Sala Group Golf Super League presents donation of over €4,000 for Costa del Sol children’s charity
On Saturday 14th April after their monthly tournament, the members of the Sala Group Golf Super League met at Oak Garden & Grill in order to present prizes and a healthy charity donation.
The Sala Group Chairman, Ian Radford presented a cheque for €4,100 to charity representative, Rita Feti from the Ciudad de los Niños in Malaga.
The Malaga establishment is one arm of a much larger organisation, with locations situated across Spain including Granada, La Linea de la Concepcion and Sevilla.
Ciudad de los Niños looks after the well-being of children and teenagers from families who are experiencing difficulties, helping to educate them, to train them for work and to help them obtain jobs once they leave school.
Since the Sala Group first opened on the Costa del Sol in 2008, it has been heavily committed to raising funds for different charities and to date has given almost €150,000 to a wide range of local causes.
