Sunny Saturday at Santana Golf Club followed by The Social by Sala!
Last Saturday saw the return of another brilliant Sala Golf Day, right at the heart of the ‘Mijas Golf Valley’ at Santana Golf Club.
Known for its outstanding natural beauty, the golfers made up of 15 teams eagerly arrived ahead of schedule ready for the game ahead. They were kept refreshed throughout thanks to Tine and her fabulous International Marbella team who provided the most delicious homemade sausage rolls and perfectly chilled beers.
After the event, the prize giving took place at the Sala Group’s latest venue known as The Social by Sala. Conveniently located just next to La Sala, the new addition is a laid-back casual space where everyone’s welcome to kick back and relax in the most idyllic, chilled garden setting.The golfers were invited to sample the new menu with a mouth watering selection of light bites being served for all to enjoy over a game of pool.
The individual winner on the day was Ryan Macdonald, scoring an impressive 42 points with a very close second being awarded to Andy Pritchard with a score of 41 points.
Team Toys came in 3rd place in our team prizes captained by Steve Richardson with 90 points overall.
The runner up on the day was The Pink Panthers, scoring 90 points as well, but just beating Team Toys on a countback.
The winning team on the day from the other side of the coast was the Benalmadena Bandits with an impressive 92 points overall. Congratulations to Captain Wayne Burton and the rest of the team!
