La Sala – the most exciting bar and restaurant to open in Marbella this year – held its official opening party last Friday, when over 300 people celebrated with owners Ian Radford, Rob Segal and Birmingham City captain Stephen Carr. Other footballing stars at the opening included former England players Paul Robinson and Teddy Sheringham, but unfortunately another of La Sala’s owners, Spurs star David Bentley was unable to make the trip to Marbella.
Guests were able to relax on the terrace on the beautiful late summer evening, and they were also able to sample a little taste of La Sala’s exceptional menu. There was also live music from jazz and soul singer Alicia while Monty and a live sax player provided a Spanish vibe. The evening ended with a DJ set from Lola Z that had the guests dancing around La Sala!
Combining the classic with the contemporary in a stunning setting, La Sala offers an unbeatable dining experience in eight different areas. So whether you want a full a la carte dinner, something impromptu from the light meal menu, celebrate with a glass of Laurent Perrier champagne on the decked terrace, grab a tapa or two and a glass of something cool in the “Rincon” or just chill out with a coffee and take in the view.
The a la carte menu features tempting dishes such as the Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb, Thai Green Curry, Chicken and Cashew Stir Fry, as well as a Surf and Turf menu, vegetarian options and daily seafood specials, all freshly prepared by our experienced kitchen team, while the all day menu features wraps, sandwiches and salads. Open every day from 10am La Sala also has an extensive breakfast menu that features Smoked Salmon and Scrambled Eggs, Pancakes with Maple Syrup and the La Sala Complete Breakfast.
La Sala also boasts on of the most stunning views of La Concha, Marbella’s emblematic mountain, from its rear terrace, and will be offering a great value special set menu from mid October.
In the evening La Sala is the perfect place to enjoy a pre or post dinner drink at the spectacular bar, crafted from Indonesian Teak. There is an extensive cocktail and wine list, as well as an excellent range of champagnes. La Sala also features live music and DJs in the evenings.
