Sala Golf proudly concluded a successful year of charitable initiatives with a vibrant celebration at La Sala Puerto Banus on Saturday afternoon. The event followed a morning of exceptional golf at the picturesque San Roque Club, where players enjoyed a competitive yet friendly round under the sun.
Guests then gathered at La Sala for an afternoon filled with lively conversation, refreshing drinks, delicious nibbles, heartfelt speeches, and a thrilling charity auction. The atmosphere was one of gratitude and community spirit as attendees reflected on a year that saw an impressive 25,000€ raised for local causes.
Funds raised by Sala Golf members throughout the year were donated to four outstanding local charities: AVOI Children’s Hospital, which brings joy and emotional support to hospitalised children, received 5,000€; Debra – the Butterfly Children Charity, supporting families affected by the rare skin condition EB, also received 5,000€; Betania, which provides food, shelter, and reintegration services to the homeless, was awarded 5,000€; and Cudeca Cancer Care, a foundation offering specialist palliative care to patients and families across Málaga, received 10,000€.
The afternoon at La Sala Puerto Banus featured heartfelt speeches, a vibrant charity auction, and the presentation of fantastic prizes, including a green fee voucher for two at La Reserva Club Sotogrande, a luxurious spa day at Elba Estepona Gran Hotel, and tickets to both the Picasso Museum and the Pompidou Centre.

“We are deeply grateful for La Sala’s support and the generosity of everyone involved in this event. These funds will directly help us provide compassionate care to those facing the most difficult moments in their lives. Every euro makes a difference, and this community has truly made an impact.”
Sala Golf remains dedicated to supporting local causes through community driven events, with planning for next year’s charitable initiatives already underway.
