Charity Lunch and Fashion Show at La Sala raises 5,000€ for local Animal Shelter
Animal lovers came together this week for a very special Charity Luncheon and Fashion Show at La Sala Puerto Banus in aid of our many furry friends at the Palevlas protectora de animales shelter. The afternoon was well received by all those who attended and included a 2 Course Lunch accompanied by free-flowing La Sala House Wine.
Live music was delivered by the incredible Marlon with the latest fashion designs on show by Mapuchi Moda. An impressive Charity Raffle also took place to raise additional funds for the charity on the day.
Palevlas Protectora is a small virtually unknown animal shelter located between Monda and Guaro. It is operated by a family of three whose lives are dedicated to looking after the animals, this can often be up to 70 dogs/puppies and 50 cats/kittens at one time. They receive no government funding making them solely reliant on donations.
The charity was overwhelmed by the 5,000€ donation with a comment: “Thank you for everything, we couldn’t be more appreciative. The food was spectacular, the place was fantastic, it was a pleasure to have the event at La Sala. The funds raised will help us to pay vet bills, vaccinations, food, utilities and rent so that we can continue to care for the animals.”
