Gift Appeal Christmas Luncheon to be held at La Sala Puerto Banus
Tuesday 3rd December marks the date for a festive fundraising event aimed at supporting local families in need this Christmas.
The event has been organised by local charity Collective Calling and will include a 2 Course Lunch with free-flowing Cava from 2pm until 4pm.
Co-Founder Gemma Carr speaks about the cause: “Collective Calling is not your usual charity, we are a community of people, who all share a calling to help others through times of need. Events are a way of joining us collectively as a community, to encourage each other, celebrate life and continue to make a way towards supporting others by raising much needed funds. The proceeds of this event will go towards supporting local families in need.”
The afternoon will showcase live music by Simone Lisa singing all your favourite Soul & Motown hits as well as an impressive Charity Raffle raising additional funds with fabulous prizes.
Attendees are encouraged to bring wrapped Christmas gifts labelled with the gender/age of the child that the present is for although this request is not mandatory. Gemma Carr further adds: “We have around 200 children on our current list whose families are struggling to provide for them this year. We are asking attendees of the event to bring a wrapped Christmas present if they can as we believe every child deserves a gift at Christmas.”
