Centenary Armistice Day fundraising event to be held at La Sala Puerto Banús to mark 100th anniversary since the end of World War One
On Sunday the 11th November, the Marbella branch of the Royal British Legion have organised a commemorative event on this very significant Day of Remembrance, marking the 100th anniversary since the end of hostilities.
The event which is sponsored by the Sala Group, Classic Car Club of Andalucía and World Resort & Hotel will commence at 10.30am with a rolling breakfast being served from 11am in the Live Lounge at La Sala Puerto Banús.
A two minute silence will be observed at 12.00 CET (11.00 GMT) and live music brought to you by Laura Ellen singing memorable songs from the World Wars.
The offering will include fresh fruit skewers, crispy bacon rolls, Cumberland sausage rolls, smoked salmon & scrambled egg blinis all served with freshly squeezed orange juice on arrival and free flowing tea or coffee.
The price of brunch and the program is 25€ per person, including a 10€ donation to The Royal British Legion of Marbella, All attendees will further receive, with compliments of the Sala Group, a voucher for 10€ per person towards beverages whilst dining at Oak Garden & Grill.
Respectful dress code is compulsory and a Remembrance Poppy would be appreciated.
